I always enjoy Missouri State University's Native American Heritage Month Powwow. The eighth annual event was Nov. 3-4. This drum group is Young Buffalo Horse, an intertribal group that performs Ojibwe and Sioux songs, according to its Facebook page. Members of this group from Shawnee, Okla., delivered seriously heavy impact on their drum, and their singing was fiercely spirited.
