This blog is dedicated to short fiction and short notes about jazz. The first three posts are short stories. — "NO ORDINARY GAME" takes place in south Chicago at Commiskey Park, at the last ballgame played at that park. — "A SMALL FIRE" shows a couple who have different thoughts about living and helping others. — "LOVE FOR SALE" has a protagonist who thinks he's a very good jazz saxophonist, but he really isn't. — The next eight posts are about jazz in Springfield, Joplin and everywhere.
